BY ROAD: From Madurai take National Highway no. 45 and drive westwards until you see a sign on the left indicating Kodaikanal Road. Drive down this road - Kodai is 80kms from here. TAXIS are available from the airport. Please book taxi while in the airport terminal. Foreigners are not advised to drive in India. Therefore, all car hire comes with a chauffeur included in the price. BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Direct buses are available to Kodaikanal from Madurai, Coimbatore, Palani and Bangalore.
